Do you need to paint?  A general "rule of thumb" is that an exterior should be painted every 5-7 years.
Go ahead and take a good look at your current paint job.  Do you see areas like the picture on the left?  The paint may look OK, but those seals and gaps need to be taken care of.  Moisture is a structure's worst enemy.  Take care of possible entry points before moisture becomes a problem and results in potentially costly wood replacement.  Look for areas where bare wood may be showing,  look for areas where the paint has lost its sheen and looks chalky.  Painting is one of the most cost effective methods of protecting and enhancing your investment.  Give us a call for a free and honest evaluation of your painting needs.


         
Painters come in all shapes and sizes, different levels of experience, different backgrounds and different
perceptions of quality.  The above pictures do NOT reflect our work; they simply illustrate bad edges, splatters on bricks, outright mistakes that unfortunately are all too common.  Check out the companies you are considering to paint your home, check their references, how experienced are the painters, do they warranty their work, are they insured, do they show up on time for the estimate and work, do they actually take measurements or just eyeball it, do they use quality products, can you communicate with them, would you trust them in your home?  Professional, reputable painting companies take pride in their work.  When getting estimates, don't hesitate to ask questions.  You may find a tremendous variation in the prices and overall answers you get.  Cheaper is not always better.  Take all aspects into consideration when selecting the company to paint your home or business.
